Festival Arts New York

Festival Arts was founded in 2005 by Amy Holson-Schwartz and her friend David Rigano. Amy and David had gone to French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts together as teenagers and formed the company as a way to facilitate networking between fellow French Woodites and the wider theatre community. To date, Festival Arts has produced over a dozen events, including networking parties, full-scale cabaret shows, and readings. The Dinner Table Reading Series is their signature event; the Dinner Table Reading provides new playwrights with a safe and productive atmosphere in which to hear their work aloud for the first time (and provides all attendees with an excellent meal).
